Versatility and adaptability. The S.O tech saddle rest is the answer to a lot of my issues when shooting a long range rifle on the go. How I have it setup, it is a 2 in one device. It is a saddle which you mount on your pack to use as a support when bipods are not ideal, AND a forestock pad which helps stabilize shots when using hard cover (wall, log, fence, vehicle) as a support and also dampens recoil.
